How may I attach strings of Christmas lights to my roof gutters?

I bought a box of the popular plastic hangers, but they won’t work with my gutters — that have a leaf guard screen attached to them.

how about "S" hooks?….

we have that same thing. we turned those things upside down. sometimes that can work. just mess around with them to see what would work best for your gutters.

Someone already said it but "s" hooks sound like your best shot. The are very cheap from hardware stores and basically just look like a little peice of wire bent into an "s" shape.

If the leaf guard screen wont allow for the gutter clips, then try zip ties. Oh yeah, always always work with the lights on. That way you’ll know ahead of time if a strand is out, and NEVER connect more than three strands at a time unless you get the heavy duty lights that say on the box that it’s okay to connect five together.
