Is it possible to hang icicle lights from your gutters if you have leaf guards?

The light hanger things we got from Lowe’s won’t work with the leaf guards. Are we just out of luck for hanging lights?

try paper clips. unfold them and loop them through.

    No it’ll work. Just use pieces of wire threaded through the mesh of the leaf guards. Not a problem.
